Munich - Sendlinger Tor & Street

The Sendlinger Tor marks a part of the wall of Munichs old town. It was built in the middle ages and marks the southern exit of the town. You can find some marks of the old walls there and there are lots of beautiful buildings to explore,. If you go up the Sendlinger Straße you will soon reach the Rathaus at Marienplatz. Nowadays the Sendlinger Tor is a popular shopping mile and street and some companies have their offices and showrooms here also. There is always something going on but at the same time the locations have a laid-back and historical charme. I also included photos of a beautiful baroque facade, the Asam house, as it is the most outstanding one in the street.

Konstanz

I had the opportunity to see a little bit of Switzerland and one of the most southern parts of Germany this month. The first time in my life I saw the Bodensee (Lake Constance) and its town Konstanz, located directly at the swiss border. I had the chance to be interviewed for a job there and took out my tiny travel cam again and shot photos. Konstanz has one of the most beautiful old towns I ever saw in Europe.
