Usedom - Heringsdorf

Almost every year, I and my family travel to Usedom. We are mostly in Heringsdorf, a beautiful spa right on the water. I love the resort architecture there, the white elegant houses and the sense of history as you walk through the promenades and lanes. You can make beautiful trips to the surrounding villages and there is always something to see. We always go in the winter, then you have the spa almost to yourself and mostly only North Germans are traveling. The sea in the cold season has its charm in the north with us. Whatever goes with it as a little insider tip: The hidden Café Knatter am Achterwasser. This year we were once at Karls strawberry farm. ,

South Korea - The Palace Gardens of Anapji

When I was in Gyeongju with my sister in Korea in December, we also visited the old palace complex of Anapji. It was a very cold but sunny lunch. As befits a Korean palace complex, there is an artificial lake and close proximity to nature. Hills, bamboo groves, rock springs - and, of course, beautiful pagodas where guests have been welcomed.

The last snow

Today I have some pictures of the snow in the Rosental for you. Before the winter is over, and there are plenty of photographs showing ice and snow. Actually, they are already doing so, as birds are already starting to sing outside and the sun is shining so warm that I have hidden most of my winter clothes back in my closet.

Leipzig - Winter

When it snowed so beautifully, I was terrified of my exams. I learned a lot, and one afternoon my head was so full that I had to go out. Zora accompanied me into the snowy forest near the Gohliser Schlösschen and I made one of two portraits of her. It was a breathtaking cold day, my fingers quickly froze and crows crossed our paths arriving on the big meadow. The first and probably last winter pictures this month.
